Inventia aparatului de fotocopiat
La 22 octombrie 1938 americanul Chester F. Carlson, inventeaza aparatul de fotocopiat. El a reusit sa imprime cuvintele "10-22-38 ASTORIA". Prima masina de fotocopiat a fost comercializata în 1954 sub numele XEROX 914.
